Hello everyone, Secrets is here!

Whew! I finished the required edits on Secrets and I’m happy to say it’s finally up and out. Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, BookStrand, Smashwords and All Romance Books. Now that the publisher is happy, let me say writing that story was an emotional journey. The research dealing with statistics and the reality of children stolen and taken into slavery and/or prostitution left me gagging. That’s why the penalty is so harsh for the culprit in this story. I know I’ll get some blow-back but at the time, that’s where I was at. Killing him off was simply too merciful for me.

Secrets… new story coming soon

Hello,

I am finishing a romance, not erotic, story about a young woman who was sold into child prostitution and was rescued. The story deals with her life after those traumatic four years. She is now a single mother and her rescuer has just died.  The most difficult part of the story for me was the research.

I am blown away by how many children are sold, kidnapped and stolen each year. The amount involved in child prostitution scares me. As a mother, I pray daily for wisdom to keep my kids safe and when I’m not around, I hope Angels in any form will carry on.

The story goes to the editing table and later to the market. I hope everyone keeps an open mind when they read this piece, it does’nt have as many sex scenes as the others. But is a romance with a lot of intimacy. Let me know what you think.

I met a man today…

This morning, I was inspecting a house (appraisal) and the owner has a serious landscaping business. Literally, I drooled at the waterfall and koi fish pond. It  was gorgeous. Then we got to talking. He told me his fiancee had never been to America. Well, since that’s the country in which we both lived, I looked at him with a question in my eye. You know what I mean. You don’t wanna come right out and aske the person their business, but since they brought it up…

Well it turns out he met his future wife online. And she lives in Russia. “With all the single women here, you went all the way to Russia for a woman?” I asked him. He said the selection was better over there. Unbelievable. He’s visited her three times and they talk online. He’s fifty, nice home and business. A lot of women in the grand US of A would’ve loved to meet a man like him.

I write fiction and that’s a story I would’ve written. But I doubt my readers would believe a man would propose after three face to face meetings. Or would they? Hmmmm.

Challenges between the races is nothing new. Folks have been discussing our differences forever. I believe we are a lot more alike than we want to admit.  A person does not need to look like for me to care for them. I simply need to like their personality or become drawn to them physically.

No race has a monopoly on beauty or fine, lick your fingers male flesh.

Everyone is entitled to choose what makes them happy, despite what others think. This discussion is not to bash any race, gender or nationality. We all make up the garden of life. But there are some things we can talk about.

For instance, how much does the size of a man’s rear cheeks matter? I’ve seen men of all races with flat asses, so you can’t just put that on caucasian men. And is the rumor true that white men are more oral than other men? Come on, give up the info. We want to know what you think.
